Twitter and what it means to me

Instead of using my personal twitter site, I am opting to use the account that I have set up for my social media job with Bar Louie.
Here are the facts for the month of March
# of tweets: 98
Content of tweet: about my daily life along with promoting Bar Louie's specials
# of Retweets: 0, I'm not really into RT's, I prefer to make them my own
# of @Replies: 9, usually to my boss and to those who ask me questions or who are interested in cross-promoting Bar Louie with their own company
# of Following: 548
# of Followers: 435
Most positive experience: I was able to make connections with some people who are big Bar Louie fans, one of which encouraged a manager in Denver to get on Twitter. I also made a connection with a man that works for Metro Milwaukee Magazine who wants Bar Louie to advertise with them.
Most negative experience: I received one @reply from someone who was unhappy with their Bar Louie experience and it was difficult to decide how to approach them and gain them back as a customer.
All in all I believe that being on Twitter has been a good experience. I first had to decide how I wanted to approach Twitter as representing Bar Louie, but instead of just spewing out specials and facts about Bar Louie, I decided to just be myself and let people ask me for information while including a blog that is all about Bar Louie. I believe Bar Louie has benefited from being on Twitter and I cant wait to keep it going and to build my network.
